Training success and new opportunities!

We remain as passionate as ever about offering excellent training opportunities. During 2015, 40 out of 42 learners (of whom 29 were our employees) completed the QCF qualification they were studying for – an amazing success rate of 95%!

In this economic climate, support for QCFs is being cut across the UK and many smaller companies are having their funding withdrawn. So it is excellent news that that not only have we maintained our work based learning sub-contract under the LLETS partnership but in May entered into a new agreement with Educ8 Training.

Educ8 Training is a well-established and highly regarded training company which is based in Abercynon. We believe that both companies share the same passion for high quality training which provides a very positive base for our future work together.

“We are pleased to be working in collaboration with Care in Hand to facilitate the training of their  Health and Social Care employees.  We have been working hard to support the professionalisation of the sector over the past 10 years and we congratulate the organisation on taking a proactive stance on staff learning and development.”  Grant Santos, Managing Director

And the early signs of our commitment to training are very encouraging. Thanks to our 2 work based learning contracts we have signed up 27 Care in Hand employees in the month of July 2015 on a mixture of OCF levels 2,3 and 5. Of these employees, 23 are between 18-24 years old.
